Perhaps the most famous "Beat Generation" books of all time.
The book is a rambling chronicle of his wanderings with Neal Cassady. The adventures of the epic road trip would become the book of that generation, along with other Beat writers like William S Burroughs and Allen Ginsberg, he was to become immortalised forever with that era.
With this book, Kerouac gives the reader a glimpse into the world that he and many others chose to live in. The other books of that generation would be the epic poem Howl by Ginsberg and The Naked Lunch by Burroughs.
