I picked up this book, thinking he was about to explain what the heck was wrong with economics as a whole.
After reading it, my faith in economics has been restored. If only there are economists like Levitt.
He deconstructs economics and puts it in its place. He has used economics as a tool to measure things, instead of making people worship economics and sacrifice humanity to it.
In his years of analysis, he has discovered many correlations of seemingly exclusive events. And more, he has discovered seemingly exclusive events cause other events.
Overall, the book teaches us to question, and to ask the correct questions. And never forget that economics is a tool, and not a destination.
Recommended. 3 1/2 out of 5
