This is a book which calls out to people like me. Someone who loves useless information.
The book brings together the best of the questions asked by readers and correspondents of New Scientist in their popular "The Last Word" column.
Questions like how come bruises go through a myriad of colours, to whimsical ones like what eats wasps are answered with explanations, scientific theories and humour.
It is a wonderful read for someone, as aforementioned, has an insatiable appetite for pointless facts.
Recommended. 3 1/2 out of 5
(p.s. the answer to "Does anything eat wasps?" is not "very stupid birds" )
