well maybe not fave but the authors which you read ALL their books
i have a few...
William Gibson.. who wrote books like Neuromancer, Burning Chrome, Virtual Light..
he wrote about things we are running headlong towards... where the internet, virtual reality and things electronic were unknown.. and he was a total computer illiterate when he wrote these books... and "the father of cyberspace"... his latest is Pattern Recognition..
another is:
Banana Yoshimoto.. who wrote a whole lot of books like Kitchen, Lizard, N.P. and Amrita..
she writes with a quirky sense of humour.. subtly taking you into the story and you can't help but start to care about the characters... very VERY recommended... i think Rhonda has dibs on my collection
