Hans Christian Andersen celebrations!

Denmark is celebrating the 200th anniversary of Hans Christian Andersen this year. (Remember The Ugly Ducking, The Red Shoes, The Little Mermaid??) Also celebrating in Singapore.
There are going to be ballets, plays, readings etc etc all over the world!
Who remembered reading his works and liking them --- even up till now??? -
Does that mean Andersens' Ice Cream will be on discount?
