i watch all of it. have done for years.
theres a great series, not shown in singapore yet, called battlestar galactica.
its a remake of a series from 1978 [and 1980, but the less said about that one, the better]
its very good - has dark humour, but also dark and thoughful..
[the original played like a soap opera and they ran ou tof money for visual effects so they keep repeating same shots]
enterprise was the latest in the star trek series franchise. its so-so.
supposed to be before captain kirk [original 1960s series] but still looks too advanced..
farscape was a long running tv series. it featured lots of puppet/alien types [it was partially done by the jim henson workshop [the muppets, sesame st, etc]
and was cancelled a couple of years ago. featured alot of cast from australia. they were going to make a movie [after the show was cancelled] but instead its been turned into a tv mini-series. should be out soon.
star wars is ok, but lucas messed it up with episode 1, 2 and probably 3..
and he keeps fiddling with the originals in bad ways..
stargate, the tv series, is better than the film of the same name. same characters, different actors [lead is 80s action-d.i.y.-guy mcgyver]. currently in 8th season.
led to a spin-off series called stargate: atlantis, currently in its 1st season.
i like arthur c clarke too. he lives in sri lanka these days..
2001 and 2010 were great movies..
bladerunner is very good - theyre releasing a special 2 disc dvd edition this year... with lots of new and lost bits to see...
