  Staring at GPS is dangerous and you will never learn your routes. The diff between a TD and PHV driver is a TD (most anyway) knows his route without the GPS whilst the PHV driver keeps staring at his GPS and making sudden stops or turns which is dangerous.  

  Dun be a PHV driver in a Taxi. You learn best when you make mistakes and kena scolded.

  I agree. Though i am able to get my pax to their destinations using gps, my road knowledge didn't improve much. Same locations i still keep using gps

  I use gps when sending pax to housing estate.

  I want to know how many minutes more to drop them. I will always use STC n get ready for next job. Having b2b is better than going round empty for another 20 mins. 

  Sg taxi spent 1/3 of the time empty. I dun like it.

  As said, there must be a passion in everything we want to do, if that passion is lost, it will be a bit difficult to carry on. It is good for newbie driver to lost their passion early, at least they still got time to give up and go back to working life As for those like many of us who already driving for years, all these passion and wanting are long gone, to carry on is more like bo bian, no other choices liao, so most of us drive patiently and relax, not those day where I chiong for pax and cut other lane liao

  Ppl drive taxi can bring up family n send children to university. U can only a meal plus a pk of cigarette. Not enough even for ownself. Really xia suay. Better quit early. U must ask this question. Many taxi on the road. Why ppl can make it but not u. R u really worst than them?

  You must learn the hard way 1st. :) Learn that this is your only option for living. Then you will start to treat driving seriously, then simi all sorts of shits will start coming. By then, you start to learn and drive like an old bird, then eventually you start to take things slow and steady, and learn to let go.

  Last time still can learn sweeping..now sweeping also nothing. Waste diesel only. else you can try lakeside to jurong point in the morning lo, mostly go tuas one.

  If till now dont use app to bid for jobs, really can cry.

  Ya. I must admit I didn't make effort to drive longer hours and don't bother to take calls

  Simply no discipline and no motivation 

  A few early morning sky dark and heavy rain with poor road knowledge i told myself when is the next accident going to happen

  Afternoon plying wasting my energy and fuel

  Hated traffic jams

  Can't stand the boredom and long hrs

  actually no need to worry abt nasty pax, vomited pax, fare evaders. Chances to encounter are very slim
