  I also find both google map and waze very helpful. Data usage should not be too high hopefully.

  Use the cheapest one lah, Singapore is not that big lah, aiyo..after 1 years continuous driving...close eyes also can go anywhere liao. And dun keep looking at GPS hor...bang one time only, then you hv to pay all that is said to be free back to them.

  I was thinking if hp or gps gadget holder be mounted in car front view to avoid losing concentration. Can this minimize losing eye contact ?

  No choice for me. Gps is a must for a noob like me.

  Depend on how skillful you are, there are people who get into serious accident just because the holder dropped and he bent down to retrieve it while driving.. if you are person that can do multi task at a single go, just like me, no problem, given 3 phones in front + MDT also can drive, but if you are like my ah Fool..better stop one side, on double signal light.. and see, read and understand first. In my office statistic, most accidents occur to newbies is when taking calls...kala kapo..kan chiong, excited + anxiety...with aircon also perspire when cannot find the location...then BANG!!... also good, at least can finally admit that leaving taxi trade is good. So becareful, once get a call, steady, read the map first, then slowly move in..do one thing at a time, dun worry about call get cancelled. With or without GPS, also must be careful, nothing beat the lost of income in any accident, be it your fault or other faults, not to mention the trauma and personal life at stake.

  Btw, will charging of hp, car cam and gps gadget drain alot of car battery power?

  what should a td do if car battery is completely drained? can call CDG to send ppl to replace?

  Global Positioning System is actually just to indicate your position and the position you wish to go, how to go is another system, that is navigating system, navigating system need constant upgrading due to changes in road and building structures, as such, there are many cases whereby driver followed GPS to Holland Lu..then pax fark them, they said follow GPS, then pax fark again...how come follow until Hor lang Lu..

  Yes, it is still necessary if you go toilet and cannot find paper, can use. and also, I use it as pillow to sleep inside the cab.

  Up to now, taxi companies is still declaring earning in their financial report, you think they care if old cab return, these are mostly earned asset with zero depreciation liao. I also dunno you kong simi lanjiao...
