Do you put things e.g. bag, umbrella, water bottle in the boot? Any items stolen from boot before?
Where you put your belongings?
Never ever put anything of value there.last time I put a lousy bag with water bottle also got stolen.
Keep it empty lah. Boot meant for luggage. Imagine got durian drop West to AP but cannot put the luggage how?

Aiya, to keep boot empty is last time old TD mentality.......
Now, beh song only, luggages throw onto floor lor.......
With Über/grab cumming into market, pax can wait for empty boot to cum lor.......

mine got a small box for cleaning equipments, can't fit, shift to front seat
Can put personal things there but wiser to leave lots of empty space so that one could take all the luggages that a potential passenger has for his long trip.
If you have one big box there, and family of four that has two big luggages wants to go to airport, you would have to forgo this long distance trip ( I know it is only around $13.30 if you travel from Marina Bay Sands to T2 during day time but you could lose a lot (at least 2-4 times that amount) if you get one from CCK/BB/BL/JE/JW to T2 during midnight or peak hours).
This is an advantage Sontas, i40s, Lattitutes and many SilverCabs have over GrabCar and Uber vehicles. You put many things in the boot means you lose your advantage over them. Most Grab and Uber cars could only fit in one big luggage.
Myself, even the washing pail is the smaller than milo tin size but I put in 2 of them. Not long ago, Comfort gave out an even more compact one but I don't like using it because it collapses very easilly. Even the portable vacuum cleaner I put at home and only use it once a week.
But sad to say, even my small cheap $1.90 pail got one customer stole away. Had to go to supermarket to buy another to replace it. I think now pails also must put one's name on it.

This one also "small money god"....sometimes encounter one can make $5 in 5 minutes.....avoid for what.....it is not as though they ask you to go Jurong Island from Jurong East during off-peak hours.... you avoid them may not find another customer for 5 minutes.
After fetching them got enough to buy one McDonalds Happy Value Meal.
