The book 生命ä¸�æ»(reincarnation) was written by a doctor who is a Christian. He did not believe in reincarnation as he is a Christian but as a doctor, he came across many cases of patients whose illnesses got to do with their past lifes. There was a case which his patients who were White Americans, they spoke ancient Chinese （文言文）when they were being hypnotised. He said he has to face the fact that reincarnation is true and he accepted the fact and decided to write a book on reincarnation.
He noticed that there were many illnesses of his patients related to their past lifes. By understanding more about his patients' past lifes, he was able to cure them more effectively.
There are other doctors who encounter patients who could relate to their past lifes when they were hypnotised but they did not discuss openly for fear of misunderstanding.
This doctor decided to write a book and revealed what he had encountered.
