Hi everyone,
when Buddha taught about mindfulness, e.g. mindfulness of feelings (sensation), mindfulness of mind 观å—æ˜¯è‹¦ï¼Œè§‚å¿ƒæ— å¸¸... if you experience something unpleasant, how do you guys deal about it?
watching it and let it "subside"? or should we act on it to stop it? when i experience something bad, i try not to dwell on the negativity and slowly got out of it, in the process of experiencing negativity, i can only "see", mindful of the situation but can't change much of the outside environment (at least not creating bad karma by an eye for an eye).....
abit proactive yet passive at the same time... is it the right mindfulness i trying? i was trying to relate more to daily life
unmind the mindness of menials
Note whatever feelings that arise. Eg if you feel angry, note in your mind "there is anger, there is anger, there is anger...." Keeping noting it until it goes away. You will see that all feelings that arise eventually pass away. You do not need to supress it.
tot u answered the question urself. 观å—æ˜¯è‹¦ï¼Œè§‚å¿ƒæ— å¸¸. see that feeling is suffering, the mind is impermanent. i see that unpleasant will change. like one day u are interested in this, then after some time, u are no longer interested. impermanence.

i can only "see", mindful of the situation but can't change much of the outside environment
Situational basis depending on the qualitative standard of the outside environment and personal karmic per se. Most importantly, it trust that the environment is as lovely as your heart.
In fact, if you would to mindful with the residents and environment of Amitabha Pureland, it's very lovely. It's supportive and being harmoniously peace in them and amongst one another on loving kindness. The qualitativeness of residents there are so in tune with the nature of serenity bliss. On earth, the qualitativeness of residents are so much different in view of political etc, and still many people do not believe in the goodness of religions, probably religious leader did not elaborate its teaching like conducting dharma talks. While exercising your religious 空å‡ä¸ä¸‰è§€ practice, you ought to be awareness when being challenged by the negativity either from political activist, personal interest, abusively discharge their authoritativeness given, that may be attempting to disintegrate religious unity or unity amongt a religion, possibly in hallucination of threat. More importantly, your practice should not to be dismembered :D However, you have to skillfully eliminating it or enforce religious doctrines of 空å‡ä¸ä¸‰è§€ upon them.
One of the best 空å‡ä¸ä¸‰è§€ is in ä½›è¯´å¤§ä¹˜æ— é‡寿庄严清净平ç‰è§‰ç». It surrounding like tree, housing, road, living beings, animals, ponds, garden etc are develop from awesomic material, for instance, your feel nice to see your home right, and if your home is decorated with diamond lighting that sparkle and the flooring of shining scratch proof marble and cool your feet, body, heart and mind, wapian, how is that dharma bros & sisters !! Awesomically adorable....sadhu sadhu sadhu....amitabha!!!
Hello! what is cog...i try to squeeze in some nicer tantalising language, it shows me cog,,,this is called earth...in preland amitabha, there is no cog :DDD

i think im not clear enough lol
just thinking that being mindful (aware) of situations, doesn't equal to changing, improving a better environment. Just 2 cents. Mindfulness is still very important... at least not that easy to get "caught" into it lol
