I'm reading this now. Only 81 pages but covers the base so well.
I think this is one of those books which covers the bases from the fundamentals, basics (including the four noble truths, the three refuges, karma, four immeasurables, bodhicitta, etc), to the subtler topics like the nature of mind, non-self and emptiness (and yet making it very comprehendable and well elucidated).
Even for advanced practitioners, this can serve as a summary text for one's practice and understanding.
I think this is a must-read.

This distillation of important doctrines of Tibetan Buddhism includes a presentation of the four reflections that change the mind, bodhichitta, emptiness, the nature of mind, and Dzogchen. Also explores the nature of human embodiment and the apparitional nature of the world, with Buddha-nature as the common thread. A thought-provoking study.</p> "This certainly is in the tradition of the 'wise ones'."</br> From the Foreword by Ven. Lama Pema Wangdak
