AEN....................how ah ?
anyway to confirm not to exist anymore after this life boh ???
i always wish to be like a stone leh................unaware...........
I think your thread was closed by FI... maybe she thinks you aren't sincere in asking, not sure.
In Buddhism, we do not aim to become like a stone. We aim to realize our wisdom, so that we can be more aware in our lives.... so that we can be liberated even while we are living.
If you are liberated and happy in your life, you don't need to seek an afterlife state.
Nevertheless, it is true that through Buddhist practice one can achieve the liberation from endless rebirth in samsara. If your aim is Arhatship, that is where you stop, for the Bodhisattvas they continue practicing to Buddhahood for the sake of delivering countless sentient beings still suffering.
anyway to be a very powerful ghost ???
so i can wreck vengence on evil people ?
ghosts are suffering beings belonging to one of the three lower realms. nobody wants to become a ghost. we should never think of vengeance but cultivating loving kindness to all our friends and "enemies" alike. in fact we should never treat someone else as an enemy. also, karma will take care of evil doers.
