I happened by chance to obtain a small booklet of the above. The date circulated was 2513 in buddhism calendar date, which was in 1969. According to the booklet, this great compassion mantra was originated by Buddha and imparted to Kuan Yin. Kuan Yin was �地�� and became 8-level �� when encountered this mantra. It is stated that to yield benefit, just purely chant the mantra and need not have to know its meaning. The mantra contained 84 verses where 83 are bodhisavattas names while 1 is samsara. There were many gan-yin stated in this booklet, and can cure 84,000 types of sufferings. It also stated that chanting this mantra can lead one to rebirth to any pureland of their desire. Initially, i put it in the pocket and was accidentally, circulated in the washing machine together with the clothing, it did not cause severe damage to the booklet, look at the amazing guan-yin...
