  Dizang (Ksitigarbha) Bodhisattva is one of the four principal bodhisattvas in East Asian Mahayana Buddhism. The others are Samantabhadra Bodhisattva, Manjusri Bodhisattva and Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva.

  Although commonly recognised as a monk with a staff and venerated for his pledge to delay Enlightenment till Hells are empty, the teachings of Dizang Bodhisattva are little known. In this segment of PMT's Bodhisattva Series 2011, we will embark on a trip to learn more about the deep vows and immense compassion of the Dizang Bodhisattva.
