勝不離川，敗不離台

  一個人生下來就有命�，一個家庭興衰有家�，一個國家興亡有國�，整個世界眾生造的共業有世�。�決定有，所以一些高明的人能夠推算出來。實在說，我們自己的心到一定的純度，煩惱少，智慧長，在一切境緣當中，也能夠知�個大概。隨著自己修行功夫加深，觀察就更入微，�於起心動念��凶��的這些因緣果報，就能看得清楚，絲毫�爽。

  �幾年我到中國訪�，在北京�到一些�人，年歲大概都比我大�歲以上，他們請我�飯，談到�去有關蔣中正先生的事。在抗戰時期，蔣先生有一天�到一��和尚，��和尚請教抗日戰爭，�和尚說了兩�話：「��離�，敗�離�。�八年抗戰�利後，他在四�；國共戰爭失敗後，他退到��。這說明什麼？人有命�，一眼就被人看穿了。這個�和尚的功夫相當於《了凡四訓》裡的孔先生，能將蔣先生一生的命�看穿。�惜他�是雲谷禪師，雲谷禪師能教人改造命�，這是蔣先生沒有了凡先生那麼幸�。

  了凡先生�到孔先生之後，他的心定了，一切境緣當中，真的�起心�動念，因為他曉得「一飲一啄，莫��定�，命裡有的決定有，命裡無時莫強求，所以心定了，樂得清淨。�到雲谷禪師之後，這��然大悟，「命中注定�是誰注定的？自己注定的，�是別人，這是自己�去生中造的業決定的。既然是自己決定的，當然自己�以改造。

  �炳��居士在�中教學弘法三�八年，他的壽命是這一生當中改造的，他說他沒有那麼長壽。我們仔細看他的相，人中很短，這�是長壽相。他說他能活到這麼大的年歲，是這一生修得的。懂得改造命�的人很多，�是沒有，�是你無緣接觸。這是一個人在一生中莫大的�憾，能�到真是大幸�我們學佛就是大幸，能�到改造命�的�論與方法，一定�掌��。

  I tot all countries experience periods of prosperity and periods of turmoil.

  Like Japan rebuilt itself after world war 2 into a strong nation but now got many economic problems.

  USA used to be strong nation but now the dollar becoming weaker. Jobless rates also high. Got many economic problems like budget dficiet etc.

  All countries got periods of prosperity and periods of turmoil.

  Like China used to be strong and properous in Tang dynasty but Qing dynasty bullied by foreigners like Japan, USA,UK and other countries. Qing dynasty became weak now PRC became stronger nation.

  UK also got many colonies in Its prime but now no more. Pound dropped alot too.

  Some euro member countries also experienced downfall recently.

  Lastime I heard phillipines economy not bad under Marcos but now quite chaotic and unstable.

  Of course human life also got periods of prosperity and bad luck.

  Some ppl middle age their luck fall, before that prosperous.
