Release of fishes on Vesak Day 17 May Tues. Meet at 3pm at Changi Jetty. Boat fare includes a free vegetarian snack on the kelong. Please call Ming Hui 90085127 to reserve your boat ticket. Limited seats. There will be a donation box to collect donation for animal liberation at the meeting point or you can ask Ming Hui how to do an internet transfer.

Beside doing a merituous act, it is also quite a nice short trip out to the kelong with the sea view and sea breeze.

$10 per boat ticket including vegetarian snack. Last time i went, they had a simple buffet spread with green bean dessert. It's nice to eat while enjoying the sea view.
They only have 10 boats available (12 persons each boat) so first come first serve.
For donation of buying the fishes to release, it's up to the individual to drop cash inside the donation box which the organiser will open on the kelong. Last trip, they were short of a few hundreds and they appeal on the kelong directly to the participants. Or you can do an internet transfer.
Because fishes/lobsters/crabs are purchased by the kg.
The recent fangsheng this month collected $6812.

oh yes..on a bright sunny day of course. It's quite a short ride out to sea but the view is beautiful.Not on rainy or stormy day. Can get seasick and all wet.

Ming Hui was interviewed on News just now and they show how the fangsheng is like on the kelong.

The total collection for Vesak Day to release Seafood into the sea is $6056. (msg text by Ming Hui ). Seafood cos the fishes are meant for restaurants.
but we buy and release them back into the sea. 70 people went for this trip and 2000 fishes were released.I cancel my seat beforehand due to personal reason. Quite fortunate too, else i will be appearing on TV. Heng ....phew...
