I have a great Vesak Day this year , thanks to this forum, i participated at the Bugis Bodhicitta Dharma Centre event and helped to look after a stall full of buddhist books/dvd/cd for free distribution.
Also get blessing from the Jonang Reincarnated Rinpoche and the Jonang Lineage empowerment of Kalachakra. It's a very rare chance. I am blessed greatly this year.
So here wishing
Happy Vesak Day to the forum moderators, admin staff and the Buddhist forummers.

Despite, we are all tired running the event with small team of manpower we have, We are very happy to dp something for buddhism at our maxmium strength here.
Really nice to meet you and you have spend your day with us and helping up here.
i recall when i was doing the night duty to guard the event ground on sunday night, i was so sleepy then in the next morning, seeing the working class peoples walked in and they picked the joss sticks to pray respect to the buddha, this have warm my heart and i tell myself, all the effort here are worth doing so.
once again, we BDC members wishing all happy and well awlays.
we have loaded some pics on the event in our facebook account. Please feel free to see them in the facebook. under: bodhicitta dharma centre
Thank you.

It's always the toughest job to watch over an open field event overnite. I am glad to make aquaintance with more devoted buddhist and friendly people at the event. Including two hongkongers who flew in especially for the event and to raise funds for the last leg of the 3 storeys Tibetan School for 300 orphans.
I like the simple, pleasant but modern settings of the event. I am sure many also like the settings. They would be attracted to light the incense, offer respect to Buddha and bath the Buddha.
Quite amazed at the huge collections of free buddhist books . Mostly in English too.
There is a wide collection of DVD/CD from Hui Liu to very difficult sutra like the Puti Dao Ci Di Kuang Luan. Sorri no chinese software to type the chinese words.
This year i have a very meaningful and happy Vesak Day. Thank you.
