Need Help!

  I am new here,but i got a problem with my internet explorer.Whenever i enter a website egcbc internet banking or posb internet banking,the IE will automatically close.Then a notepad file like "hs_err_pid812" will appear on my desktop.
  
  When i open the file,it says :
  # An unexpected error has been detected by HotSpot Virtual Machine:
  #
  # EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION (0xc0000005) at pc=0x6d6c2e94, pid=1812, tid=1980
  #
  # Java VM: Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (1.5.0_04-b05 mixed mode, sharing)
  # Problematic frame:
  # V [jvm.dll+0x82e94]
  
  and alot more numbers..
  
  Can someone help me..

  looks like u need to check if yr installed java is d latest
  
  heres a link to download the latest one..install it n try :
  
  http://java.com/en/download/download_the_latest.jsp
  
  When you click on the “Download” button it chks to see which version you have. If you do not have the latest one the download will start and install it for you too. If you do have the latest you will be told so and no download will start.

  hi,thanks for your reply..But i tried downloading the java but it still has the same problem.While trying to download,the IE closes automatically again..Tried a few times but the same thing happen..
  
  What should i do?

  try changin browser?
  
  i change to firefox n no such problem happened again

  u can try 2 uninstall java n reinstall
  n check yr.dll (might wanna use registry mechanic)
