I thinking of buying a computer with budget around $1400. Which brand do you recommend in term of price, reliability and system performance? By the way what you think of the Dell computer?

My folks say dell sucks, why it sucks I have no idea. But I do know dell supplies my folk's offices.

yeh i agree since u may be using your monitor, keyboard, floppy, cables and mouse...can save alot if u dun 1 LCD.

DVD burner or CD burner - up to S$150 (based on max proce cheaper DVD writer)

i heard-say dell com lousy...easily spoilt...dunno y also...i tink for me i will go and fix a com with my own specs...
