Bunching is getting more common after adding the DDs..
The issue is more with the # buses. When you operate with 19 buses, it is designed to bunch as frequency is 02-03 mins.
Likewise for 911. Even if have no DDs, spotting 3-4 buses bunch is common everyday.
Hence need to reduce number of buses and create appropriate spacing when you add high capacity buses, otherwise it is waste of resources.
Does today also have 5-6 high capacity buses on svc 860? Has anyone observed which bendies and DDs?
Just dont want it to be 851 case where DDs came for a week, and then went off.
I think 860 use random DDs everyday just like TT/GA

On Friday PM, I spotted 2 DDs and 2 bendies on svc 860.
1. A95 (SMRT livery, didn't see rego)
2. E500 (3591B)
3. NWAB (1138M)
4. NWAB (didn't see rego)

109 should have got DD fleet add instead of SD or SD -> DD conversion. The loading is quite high on 109.
116 is merely to improve frequency. The current frequency is quite lousy and buses are late departing Hougang Interchange because they come in late and before the expansion opened, it was a nightmare to find parking.
svc 961 now operating with 4 DDs.
The loading between Bukit Panjang MRT and Mandai Industrial Estate is v heavy especially during AM peak. Hence, both 960 and 961 have got capacity increase and fleet add to meet the AM demand. 178 too got 2 fleet add.
PM demand (515-630pm) is more spread out and usually gets 50-65 pax between Mandai and Bukit Panjang for these services. AM demand can be 90+ pax towards Mandai.

I think most of 109 routes is parallel with other svc nia that's why only get SD fleet added.
301 should see some fleet add with Keat Hong Crest TOP this month. 983 also(?) but how many more as it is already operating at 05-06 min frequency.

There is no perm A22 on 860,Its Citaro.
