SD -> DD conversion
sv 19: 2 SDs converted to DD (10 DDs, 4 SDs)
sv 20: 2 SDs converted to DD (8 DDs, 2 SDs) wonder how the weekend fleet looks considering on weekend, the loading is v low on sv 20
sv 35: 2 SDs converted to DD (8 DDs, 3 SDs) already communicated, interesting to know sv 35 operate with 3 SDs only. How is weekend fleet? Should be full fleet SD.
sv 147 got massive upgrade with 4 SDs converted to DDs. Now operating with only 1 SD. This is a GOOD move.
301S101 converted to bendy wef today according to reliable sources

Heard from a senior 48 BC a few days back that DD will be introduced on 2 S Shifts wef end nov. Just got confirmation from LTA:
"LTA is aware of the high demand for Service 48 during the morning peak hours and has been closely working with SBS Transit Ltd to enhance the bus capacity.
We are pleased to inform you that we have introduced 2 double-deck buses to Service 48 for operation in end November 2016. We thank you for your patience while we implement the changes.
We thank you for writing in."

That's the best news I have heard.
Had been writing in to LTA also for long time. So finally 48 will get DDs. I think they start with 2 DDs to test the Rochor ramp first and then will add more.

yes, hopefully all is good with the rochor ramp esp downwards in rainy weather.

Ha ha.. yes I am sure they must have taken enough precaution to make sure DDs don't topple.

Hmm ... 27A and 34A are similarly SWTs of airport-bound services but they don't have DDs so I don't think 36B will get DDs either ...

It's stupid logic, I don't understand why.
sv 48 to get DDs... training pic taken two weeks back. DDs on Rochor ramp.

Eh chill la bro. I never say anything wrong right?? Seriously
Anyway not many people really take 858A unless they really miss the last bus of some other service since it only operates at midnight and it only serves the neighbouring towns, but I NEVER said that other SWTs cant get them since I dont know about those services. Haizzz
Btw, dont ask me about who deploy what model to which service. The only thing I can say is that LTA deploys them for reasons which I dont know why but just accept it man. Nothing is going to change unless you really do something which changes everything, which would be a long way to go
Take it easy bro
36B can do split shift timings,Start from Siglap Rd-Tomlinson-Siglap Rd
4 DDs and 3 SDs can relieve 36 loadings mah..Weekdays 0700-0930 / 1700-1930
Saturdays 0700-1330
I dunno whether Svc 860 should extend its operating hours till 0000 hrs instead of the current 2330 hrs... But then one may argue that the feeders end late at 0055 hrs and Svc 860 is a trunk service.
My reason is that I still see some passengers around midnight still waiting for bus at opposite Blk 798. I see when Svc 811/811E comes, they dun board the bus... I wonder if they are aware that the last bus left alr...

I got a feeling 860 will extend further in future.Maybe 860M will help?

If LTA put DDs on 83, 46, 119, 256 etc, why 27A, 34A, 36B and 858A cannot ah? Knn.
obvious reason is that the buses doing 27A/34A/36B are usually doing the parent service..... is there a need to scold vulglar word?
why 858A need DDs? how many ppl take from 11pm till last trip?
