When come to double deckers deployment, 854 got to get the DDs first, probably because 854 had too many old bendies and they need some of these new double deckers in order for 854 to go WAB then.
AMDEP now is fully free from rooftop infrastructure because of BCM.

Agreed,GA should focus more than bus runtime and deployment rather than jumping buses,And Weekends still got 2 service per BC as of today�

S34,Add 1 more fullday and 1 more split shift buses.
S43:Empty duties still exist,What's the use of full DDs if 2-3 duties never move at all.
43M:4 SDs and 2 DDs enough,Running at 12 mins per bus better.

Hi mr carbikebus, Go Ahead is really joker of the year. This morning, I see a sparsely occupied DD 83 with lots of empty seats and a fully occupied with many passengers standing on SD 3 side by side and I also squeezed with them on the single deck 3. Cheers. Thanks.

Because the SDs are being deployed during peak hours and making people late for school because cannot board bus. We had been hoping 12 would get more upgrades, especially morning peak and afternoon 4-5pm.

Well... empty DDs was never a concern for LTA in the first place.. so LTA is a joker as well.
Look at 119 running with empty DDs for years and then 46 introduced with peak loading of 15-20 pax that can be even managed by mini buses but DDs deployed instead.
So no point just blaming GA on DDs on 83 though if you follow my posts, I absolutely agree with you that it is a joke to put DDs on 83.

LTA should swap these DDs from GA with the SG plate Citaros from SMRT. Seriously Yishun side needs much more DDs than services like 83, 119 etc.
