I wonder how's the fuel economy compared to bigger engines? Like in terms of BHP/L of fuel. I see that Citaros average around 43L/100km with the 6.4 litre engine. It's funny how when accelerating the instant fuel economy surpasses 99L/100km and then goes blank to hide the fact that it's consuming much more fuel than that.

SBS6232J (BN 518) is now officially without the rim covers (or whatever is the precise thing to call that) as well. One of last few initial BNDEP Citaros to be left with the rim covers on before this.
They tied the wire coils to secure the lugnuts way before & left the rim covers on that time though till now. Dk why they still drop the rim covers now.

Half a year inside AMDEP and yet so many problems are popping up.
When WLDEP handled the B1 citaro there weren't so many problems but <1 year at AMDEP there are so much issues at hand.

On paper manufacturers always put something with 5 stars where in true term it's between 3 and 4 stars.Our tropical climate made it more fuel guzzle.What do you expect from a 6.4 liter citybuses?Another reason why SMRT don't wanna purchase more Citaros.City bus somewhere 7000-10500cc is just nice for our roads.

Their technical staff all cmi.Big lazy goons only,Claimed more OTs but work half heart.Im hoping that SMRT will sell off all 51 Citaros and concentrate with MANs,OCs and other makes.

I am really disappointed to be honest. If they are not interested in keeping the citaros well then they should return it to WLDEP and not wasting their time.
KJDEP I do not think have problems with citaros, WLDEP lost so much just because of the MAN, AMDEP just can't be bothered to maintain it well. If that is the case how are they going to maintain the Citaro C2 if they keep this kind of standard?

Even after the 'windscreen crack' incidents at AMDEP, AMDEP had yet to take in a large number of MANs (except BSEP batch) at once...why is this so?

SBS Transit's Citaro fleet are the only one bus type in their fleet not to feature adjustable aircon outlets for passengers.
Wonder if they will replace all the overhead aircon panels to have adjustable aircon outlets in the future.

The other time BIS took a photo of the BSEP 265 (6300X) last year, I recognised the driver in e pic and passed a hard copy to him. (credits and all intact) Ill never forget the delight on his face when he saw that photo of him driving the Citaro ;)
