  If you don't want to take SMRT buses, maybe take MRT to Clementi (change to EWL at Jurong East Interchange), then take 52, 154 or 184.

  161 to HG Ave 8, cross, 74 to Ngee Ann Poly.

  if don't want stadium direct then can take 88 to the stop before Yio Chu Kang rd then walk to yio chu kang road and take 70

  Walk under the sun from Woodlands Interchange and walk to Woodlands Centre Road for abut 30 minutes I think, can tahan??? In fact, if he misses one 52, maybe can try and walk to NP in order to save money at the same time.

  Any other faster ways to get to the following destinations by bus only beside those stated below?

  Starting point is Clementi / West Coast.

  a) to Kallang Sector:

  option 1: service 184 to Upp Bt Timah Rd, then service 985 at Jln Jurong Kechil to Jln Toa Payoh, then service 8 or 90 to MacPherson Rd and walk in.

  option 2: service 154 direct to MacPherson Rd and walk in.

  which one is faster?

   

  b) to Admiralty St Northlink Bldg:

  service 184 to Bt Panjang, then service 187 or 963 to Woodlands, then service 962.

   

  c) to Ang Mo Kio Techplace I / II

  service 165 to Ang Mo Kio MRT, then service 268.

  For A either option wont differ in time much.

  For B that should be one of the optimal routes already. You still have 966 btw for the second leg.

  For C i believe 52 to Bishan St 22 -> 88 is faster.

  You can alight at Clementi station, transfer to service 52 or 105 at the bus stop beside Cityvibes.

  I can think of 184 to Bt Panjang > 187/963/966 to Woodlands > 858/962. Any other ways?

  1. Take 198 to Buona Vista, transfer 185 at there to Clementi Ave 6, then take 189.
   Unsure about number two though.

  2. Take Service 189 to Bukit Batok Interchange. Walk out to Bukit Batok Central bus stop at Blk 628 and take Service 187. Transfer to Service 856 at Marsiling Stn and alight at Senoko Rd.

  If I take service 961 to Bukit Timah Rd then transfer to service 77 then walk in to St 23. Will this be faster than your suggested?

  He can also take 178 at bus stop opp block 628 and transfer 856 at Woodlands Checkpoint stop. That might be faster instead.
