How long do your socks last??

  I wear socks to work everyday. Normal and toe socks.
  Some sock swear for years liao still ok.
  There are times I wear a brand new pair and the same day I come home the socks got hole at my big toe liao!!
  
  How to maintain socks well? Which brand is good (dark colours only)...hate to buy and buy so often...

  my socks can last for years leh.....
  any brand that i buy can usually last mi for years...
  
  i usually lose them before i wear them out...
