Why must I fall ill at the critical time???

2 days ago, I actually volunteered to work tonite bcoz the guys working with me are fds I like.
Suddenly last night I felt my throat dry and coughing non-stop. I realised I have not been drinking enough water for the past few days and took quite a bit of fried stuff.
This afternoon I feel terrible and I went to sleep for a while aft taking two panadols. Woke up and I knew I am kenna flu plus throat infection liao.
Feels like hell!!
Went to Tan Tock Seng, confirm flu and upper throat track infection. 3 days MC.
My fds were disappointed I am not coming, while others saw I chao geng becoz of long weekend.
So suay man!! Why fall ill at this critical time?? disappoint my fds and let other ppl talk c0ck abt me!
Maybe I shd go...but my throat pain like hell and I suddenly lau pi chwee on and off....Arrgghhhhh -

Felt better after medication and long night's sleep.
But somehow feel bad, like I play my fds out.
But I know they will understand.
