SG women, unpredictable!????

hi.... first of all, im a foreigner working professional here in SG and i have this collegue in our place that i really like..
she is a singaporean and we kind of get along quite well.. a couple of lunch dates and serious talks and with all the romantic antics that i did (posting small sweet notes on her monitor, giving stuff toys and long stem rose with petals all over her desk as a surprise etc.) until i told her about my feelings towards her..
now, when i ask her what can she say about my intentions, she always said i dont know, or change the topic whenever i raise that topic. she always says she's too shy or sumthin... haaaaayy!! im totally out of my mind now!! she also said that maybe im not true to all those things, are my gestures not enough for her to prove that all those things are true!?!??? tsk tsk tsk

maybe she likes the feeling of being chased but don't like you as a boyfriend, so she subconsciously closed her eyes and pretend its gestures of friendship, even if its obviously not.

but... if they're not interested, why cant she tell me NO or reject the idea.. right!??? But she wont tell, she always say i dont know... i mean, thats normal in dating.. so it should be that way... thats why some guys have the assumption that there is still hope of sumthin because the way girls treated us that way.. isnt it!?? im sure there are local guys out there who also experience it....
