harassed by landlord

  I stayed at Choa Chu Kang Street 51, Singapore 680517 for more than a year. On 9th March, 2014, I received inappropriate phone messages from the owner of that home when other flatmate was not around and the other flatmate seemed to travel. I did make an immediate decision to move out from that home as I did not know when other flatmate would come back to that home.

  
  

  The owner gave deposit back only 200$  to me though he was supposed to give me 550S$. 

  
  

  The amount 200S$ was only received on April 24, 2014 after sending many texts to him. Remaining 350$ is still with him.

  Tsk tsk tsk its them again.    You better go do something to get full amount back.

  Met someone from this same .....  instead of placing legs in front stretch out leg on walkway in the bus.   I would hv tripped and fall because of his uncalled and unacceptable behaviour if I did not see that.

  Make a claim in small claims tribunal or go to police for assistance. His contract didn't have his real name?

  I've bad experience in regards to landlord too . Please be more careful in future and by right you should also request your landlord to produce a photo copy of his nirc / passport to keep . you can also read my post abt bad experience with landlord if you are interested

  My mother is a horrible landlord, she makan tenant $130. End up tenant approached me for help and I paid him back.

  You should keep his messages and report to police and your property agent. 

  You are probably not his first victim and neither his last. 

  There's a lot of predatory landlord out there. Be careful who you deal with.

  Pull a chair tell your mom to sit down and explain to her nicely why this is not good but if she is from Sri Lanka then mother or no mother you better call the police

  To get back the money , somehow you may have to meet up with him . Just that thought is scary , he may say more horrible things or even act them out ... Go to the police and if they cannot help , probably forget it but inform his neighbours what pervert he is , so that they can tell and warn the new tenants .
