how to get to know new friends

  Hi all, I'm new in this forum.

  I'm a Malaysian working in SG. Out of boredom, i stumbled upon this forum and hopefully can spend some time here :(

  I have a very boring life. On weekdays I'm working and on weekends i don't have friends to hang out with. I'm home for the whole day today and i feel super damn bored! >.<

  Where can i get to know new friends? I need friends in this lonely city... sob sob..

  Join courses in community clubs and take the initiative to talk to them and share with them interesting things

  Depends what kind of courses you take in cc. Go for courses also quite hard to make friends, worse if you are shy and withdrawn. Cos everyone is concentrating learning, not networking. So I think take courses only let you meet new ppl but not make new friends. Only if you take part in networking session whereby there are ppl who say they want to make new friends bla bla bla, then you have the chance to make new friends. Otherwise, gyms, courses, all these, are a waste of your time if your intention is just to make new friends. Speaking from my experience.

  Are you waif, blonde jk haha and diva-to-be take on media clubs

  Are you social butterfly and very agreeable link friends of friends
