Anyone hates living in woodlands too?

ok so I live in Woodlands. Near the Mrt there. it sucks and I have always hated living in woodlands cuz its one hour away from my school (bukit timah). anyway , when i'm in uni i'm gonna stay at the dorm but for now its one hour transport time EVERYDAY mon-fri. I hate this transport even though I have been doing it for 5 years. I have promised myself to always go to school/work at most 15 minutes from my house in future after I graduate from this school. secondly, woodlands is very far from town area like orchard, raffles, city hall, bugis and habourfront. Town area is very happening and woodlands is just meh. It is so damn ulu and remote. Its almost like living in the surburbs of new York city--- need take transport 40 minutes to get to city -.-. what's the point of living in a city if you take 40 min just to get to the town area lol. also, the government is not doing anything to improve the situation of people who live in woodlands, tampines, etc. they should have expressway buses to go to town lol. in conclusion, woodlands sucks and I want to move to more convenient places like Bishan or Clementi

advantage of living in woodlands:
1) imo its not ulu
2) everytime got pasarmalam
3) a lot of bus svc to diff parts of sg
4) planned thomson line
5) actually theres a lot of happening
6) bigger shopping mall
try to take a look at yew tee/cck

Woodlands more expensive than Jurong in terms of foods and dining.It is very hard find cheap places in Woodlands but you can find plenty in Jurong. Tell your parents to move to Jurong to stay.

Woodlands is second only to Marina Bay in terms of cleanliness which is a bad thing if you want to go to Malaysia for a holiday because Malaysia is very dirty.You need dirtier place such as Jurong to not to be homesick in Malaysia.

Another thing is Woodlands is not vegetarian-friendly enough. I can't find a single dining place which has vegetarian meals.I can only find a stall selling vegetarian dim sums which is not enough.
