  The best way to get over someone is to cut off all contacts and stay away.

  Clinging on to the "friendship" makes it harder to move on and heal from the hurt of rejection.

  Ex are meant to be ex.. your new relationship will be stunted if you keep lingering around your ex-interestee.

  Once that person is out of your life.. it will be easier to focus on meeting new people whom you can have feelings for again.
