  I like a girl who is my relative. She is older than me by either one or two years. I find her really bubbly and cute. I want to date her. I don't know how to start. I don't even keep contact with her other than meeting up with her during Chinese New Year. She is from my mother's side. I keep thinking of her day and night. I'm afraid I'm not good enough for her. I am going crazy. Do advice me on what to do.

  Assuming you're a guy (it's actually ok if you're female also)

  Try striking up a conversation with her and hopefully get her number. If you've missed the opportunity, get her number from alternative sources (like her parents, common relatives, your parents etc.) 

  Start off by being friends, express your interest in her, but don't go too quickly because she may be scared off if you're too direct. 船到桥头自然直...

  But yes, I think I missed the opportunity to talk to her. I have never really talk to her except saying Happy New Year. If I get her number from someone else, would it be very creepy because I don't even contact her in the first place?

  You can get her number from someone else without being creepy. You just have to sugarcoat your words (reality) while not hiding your real intention of course. I mean, you like her! What's wrong with that? 

  Assuming a family reunion dinner is not possible that's probably your only choice now. You can grab the opportunity, or let it go now and maybe regret it later.

  how related are you to her? Incest is not something to fool around with. if things don't go well, where would you stand in front of all other relatives? think before you let your fancy goes wild.
