Hi , I am Secondary 3 and I have been getting a lot of stress because of this problem. I dont like NCC as my CCA as its very tiring and after a CCA session always very shag. I stopped attending the CCA during Secondary 1 and I forgot everything I learnt there. I was wondering if I could still switch my CCA or maybe go back to my CCA with no knowledge about NCC ? If I go back to my CCA with no knowledge what do I do? I also do not want to risk any CCA points as they are very vital for my O levels. HELP! :(
Uniform group cca cannot change
I can still change. What should I do?
Why did you skip CCA? WHY DO YOU CHOOSE TO REGRET NOW? Let me give you 3 "words,
YOU ARE SCREWED.
sec 3 is the oni year to pia CCA pts
but oso too late to start anew
sports can accumulate a lot of pts bery fast if you take part in comps and win of course
for uniform grps and those clubs, u need to hold appointments then will get more pts
Hello there, I see you really need some cca pts in other to attain a minus 1 or 2 pts. I now recommend you to attend your uniform grp's cca, and if there is ANY camp or events, please join. It'll really help, esp using your senior position/leadership rank. I know of a guy that only attends the camps in his uniform grp but managed to get a B grade, but that is not encouraged of course.
Next I urge you to sign up for CIP activities outside school. Portals like Sgcares offers immediate volunteering opportunities, and CIP points will be awarded. Are you a councillor or do you hold any important position that can give you much cca points? If not, please buck up and I hope that you'll attain a A grade. Cheers! ;)
If you too stress you can always choose CCA like being an librarian or music like choir if you have the knowledge, that how most of people I know 'de-stressed' themselves when the CCA 's rules change their activities day on weekday instead of weekend. And they know that O/N level are the most important step which they cannot failed.
If you are scared of using CCA to apply in poly, I can clearly tell you that they will only look at your O level or Nitec grade, your CCA is just only an bonus cos I know of people who are O level private candidate can still being accept into their course.
Finally for employment wise, most employer did not even bother to see like your NS certificate of service to see how 'good' you are, let alone your CCA which only reflect on your report book.
Thanks a lot for helping me out! I now know what should I do. Thank you.
