Malaysian gf tendered her job..

  Hi i am a local singaporean. My gf who is a malaysian has just tendered from her job as her and now im wondering if i can apply for a STVP and be her sponsor? While on STVP, can she continue to stay in Singapore and look for a new job?? Please advise. Urgent

  Another qn, how many days is she allowed to remain in SG after her work permit is cancelled?

  Minimum stay after her work permit is cancel - 1 week but that is not a problem. She can always enter Singapore again and probably get 14 days to 30 days stay. She can get the LTVP once she is married to a you, a Singaporean. About STVP, I think it applies to other nationalities from Philippines, China, India etcs. For Malaysians, not necessary because they can always reenter Singapore after existing to JB.

  Oh thanks! which means she just have to go back her hometown when the 30 days is about to be up and come back and it will auto-renew 14-30 days again?

  You can get all the answers from ICA or MOM websites directly. When you write to them online within their websites, they will send you a reply to your email address. ICA http://www.ica.gov.sg/ MOM http://www.mom.gov.sg/

  Yes, especially when she has worked in Singapore before. I think she can get 30 days stay when she reenter later.
