how do you cope with one of your family member has been diagnosed with cancer at a late stage?
help him/her to live each day fruitfully
even when u are healthy, u shd oredi be living each day like the abv
To add on with the above point, let them know that their responsiblity/worries will be well taken care of.
IE: their kids (if any or still young), unfufilled businesses etc...
if you are getting married and getting a phtoographe, tell them so and thaen say you will like to request a discount.
Well.. I know it's the worst thing to experience in life when this happens I ur loved one. Assure him/her that everything will be well taken care of or whatever u know that will fulfil this person's final wishes. I don't know what's ur faith background, but if u r a Buddhist, the best thing is just to recite amituofo continuously, better thing to do, buy the device that u can play the prayers with. Trust me it helps ur family member. This is the most important stage that is help him lessen the agony of the illness. Good luck. Don't take it too hard because this is part of life that everyone will definitely go thru that is separation. I wish u well :)
diagnosed at what age..?
Spend time and bring happiness to him before he moves on. That the least you can do.
If you haven't done anything you should to him/her, start now. Make it special everyday for him/her.
Most of the times, I see those who weeps and cried the most are those who regretted the most.
Just do your part and prepare your heart.
That's how I cope when my grandma was diagnosed with cancer as well...
Live a life of no regret.

Great advice!
No one is spared from death, either earlier or later. Dying in peace, calm and relax is most importantly how the family going to help the patient along with it. If life just ended one life, thats very painful, because all our loved ones, friends etc would be sorrowfully departed from the great company in one life and thats very cruel. The good news is that it does not ends just one life, and all will meet again. However, it is better to meet up with supra happy consciousness, and the above provided a very good lead. Good luck, and may all has nn suffering of cancer illness in their short human lifespan.
