To those that say, the blame is on the gamblers rather than the casinos, I bet you guys don't know something about business. For example, if you are hungry, you have the choice to eat instant noodles or say chicken rice. Chicken rice stall is just downstairs, more people will choose to buy chicken rice. If the chicken rice stall needs you to go to KL to buy, you think many people are willing to go through the trouble for the chicken rice? In business, this is called barriers of entry. The reason they teach this in business school because this is important. I'm not going to give an entire psychology and business lesson here, but the fact that casinos are built here, I have absolutely no doubt that it has caused social problems to its citizens, problems that wouldn't have arises if the casinos weren't here.

you wont underastdn people with a kink one lah. some peoplea re edicts. some are desperate for money not because they need it for livelihood but becasue they just need more of it to buy luxury stuff for their own. will also create family problems when they start losing their savings. more and more people receiving counceliling and barred form entry. its hving socia imapct also.
more soare vice related organized crimes. see the recent news on our local soccer bets matching fixing. crimes criminals getting bolder and more aggressive!
