makes me feel like I am living in a totalitarian state. I read some books and found out about SDU and the graduate mom policy. People's private lifes also want to interfere. Genes also want to interfere.
Why can't a graduate marry a non-graduate? "To aviod having a stupidier society" my my, how can he measure a life in dollars and cents?
Materialistic government creates materialistic citzens. All buying condo instead of starting a family.

wp is quite useless in helping us to prevent the 6 million population growth. hdb also never decrease.
in fact, nothing had change since they entered parliarmant.
Waste of taxpayer's money
you should put your hate for WP aside at the moment. they are holding the Aljunied GRC. we need them to expand and link up wiht Hougang, to make bigger GRCs to give pap a mole in the face.

be what?
Join the opposition one day, Summer hill.
By the way, in your earlier comments, you said that nothing has changed since WP entered parliament. The real fact is that yes, because having a small number of oppositions will not change much in Singapore, but the reality of having a bigger change is to have more oppositions into parliament.
Of course today, there isn't enough oppositions to block constitutions or policies that are harmful to Singaporeans. Today, we have 81 PAP MPs and we only have 6 for the WP MPs. So do you really think this number is enough to change Singapore today?
For me, I would definetely say no. With a small number of oppositions, the PAP is still able to create and amend policies that they want, but oppositions could not block policies that can be harmful to Singaporeans or change policies. We are still living in the old PAP today.
Those living in oppositions may enjoy amenities without even paying peanuts while those living in PAP may enjoy amenties and even upgrading programs, but you got to folk out the money all by yourself and it can even cost more than peanuts. So which is your choice, oppositions or PAP?
Summer hill, the only way to see real and big change in Singapore is coming the next GE, vote for the oppositions and also ask your friends and family to vote for them as well.

WP did impact Singapore, but only to a certain extend. I visited the WP's website today, and I was pretty happy that WP object to the voluntary sterilization.
Nevertheless, I find the Voluntary Sterilization Bill quite evil......because, "Currently, a spouse, parent or guardian of persons "affected with any hereditary form of illness that is recurrent, mental illness, mental deficiency or epilepsy" has the power to give consent on their behalf. This is even though such persons may still be capable of giving their own consent despite their conditions." That means the doctor makes the decision for the patient. That's forced sterllisation!! Crime against humanity!!! I think I might cry and kill the doctor if this ever happens to me.

Law? There are so many ways laws can be shaped. In politics, economics and society. But I have nothing much to say about this, except that the government relook into certain laws implended and amend them.

hello mr future opposition member, your entire career can't be devoted to just improving the lifes of singaporean, right?
And also, I want to hear your views on abortion.
On survellience cameras too. Do you think there are too much of such cameras in singapore?

Laws can be shaped, but your feet grow naturally, so wear shoes that fit you, with a shoes bigger size than your feet you won't go very far.
so it your head, a bigger hat will cover your eye, blind you more than it shades you.

Some people are pro-death, that is pro death penalty, pro abortion and pro euthanasia
Look here Mr yenwei yow, your intentions can be good, simply because you want to give a better life to singaporeans, but at what cost?
Joseph Stalin(learn more history)may have industralised Russia VERY quickly and Russia is pretty rich now, but at what cost?
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
And also, what are your views on eugenics? If we could have a stronger, more intelligent population...Singapore would be richer right? But the renthics in pursing such ideas is not that great. Eugenics itself is strongly linked to Hitler.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
There are many many many things to learned from history, take it up for your sec 3 subject combi.
If you are not replying to me, say bye bye to your vote
let's just say that 39.9% is enough to scare the shit out of the MIW so much that they're capitulating on everything which pisses the people off..
so there are too many foreigners? tighten up...
not enough housing? desperate building of BTOs and releasing land for condos
not enough transportation? throw $1.1billion of taxpayers' money for SMRT and SBST
the list goes on... they never ever did such things before because they didn't give a shit thinking they were infallable, invincible..
now they're shown for what they are, useless, feckless, clueless politicos...
i would say the opposition are not much better but at least they put in the fear of the people into the system...
and that is a good thing

Of course! By the way, I do not go online very often, so it may take some time for me to respond. MPs of course not only should spend time improving the lifes of Singaporeans, they have so many tasks and priorities to complete, but some MPs would prioritise themselves on improving the lives of Singaporeans first.
On abortion? Maybe pre-marital sex might have contributed the most. You generally know that abortion can occur because of unwanted pragnency, lack of money to raise a child or cause harm to both/either the mother and/or feotus if pregnancy continues. But if I were to speak on this over here, I would say that high cost of living and other factors would also contribute to abortion.
Cameras. Obviously some are useful, but some, they are useless. In fact, even when CCTVs are installed, we still see both residents & foreigners leaving all unwanted rubbish and worst, urines as well as cigarettes left behind. With these useless CCTVs installed, that increases our service & conservancy charges which we would have to pay more.

is forced sterilization ever justifiable?
