  The other guy SBS???  claims that he is competing with top-tier China/Indian scholars. I was trying very hard to suppress my laughter.

  Get out of Singapore and see the rest of the world. You do not know what is real talent yet. If you are doing a PhD in Harvard or MIT, your statement might have seemed more credible.

  Then why give a scholarship to him? He clearly doesn't warrant that merit. If he migrates, he will lose to the competition. So yeah, following your logic, he stays behind and whines.

  Nuff said. Fact is, govt didn't give such a fella face, which is good.

  MOE scholar who flashed himself at my home faculty recently....well, that's another story.

  I'm part free lancer, part self employed. I wouldn't want to engage anyone who don't bother to present their credentials properly just because I don't have the credentials.... If I have them, I don't need you.

  What is your education certification for if not for presentation? Just how many bosses have the time to collect institutional certifications if not for their presenting of a good credentials?
