I lost trust in WP for this YSL saga, but I regain it when they made this move and even if lose hougang. But my main worry is if hougang residents think since parliament has 5 WP mp + 2 WP NCMP, they may use this chance to vote for MIW to get upgrade...

its defintely a tough decision to expel someone whom u have very high hopes and is a blue eyed boy for the next party leadership....
its for the good of WP...any more delay would only dissolve all those painstaking efforts LTK has built up...if u criticise the ruling party but couldn't account for your own....WP will eventually lose popularity....
but the buck should not stop here.....WP must step up on greater works and transparency within its party...show the public that they are truly an accountable and respectable opposition...especially in their selection process of potential candiates to run....
2016 is not very far.....

i support them their party but i dun support this decision... it's just a waste of time and money....they should think about the citizen rather than just trying to show they are more accountable than the other party... -

they respect the citizens enough to ask them to choose a proper MP instead of just saying "nevermind lah.."

Now the Budget got to be sweet to try and win this by election.

WP already taken the bold step forward.
Now, the MIW have to panic and decide whether to get georgie or any of his ex-colleague to run for the position.
It will take a long time for them to decide and prepare so the advantage is to WP.
At least WP did not use the Jackie's reason for Yaw case.

this is only a little setback for WP....but there are more challenges ahead of them...
they need to recruit more powerful candidates like Chen Show Mao...but character is still the imperative test to run the party...u may have excellent oratorical skills...but ultimately, its the character that is the imperative test to sustain your credibility...

the citizens should learn by now that political showmanship is an immatured evaluation tool and its foolish...
citizens must really grow up to take on the real responsibility to decide based on deep and sustainable values of the candidates....
its an immature singapore if we see large crowd of fan clubbing wowing after their so called "idols" ....

I have just watched the WP conference.
It seemed that the guy is being sacked for not standing forward to defend the allegation and he is not informed personally about his sacking.
Strange way of approach by WP to sack some one without confirming the allegations.

by not coming forth to stand firm and face forefront to its allegations, be it baseless or true, its ruinous enough for the party's reputation....
