Just read that a record no. of people have applied for this position in parliament. Have you heard any of them do anything meaningful for the people of singapore while they were there? If so, pls share.
I think Joscelyn Yeo is one right? Haven't heard anything meaningful yet. The only one worth listening to is Siew Kum Hong as he talks about bread and butter issues. Think he also writes for TOC.
What can they do?
Even the alternate parties cannot do anything to stop the incumbent party.
They are there to get high profile for themselves.
Look good on their CVs esp for the younger ones.
If they are so concerned about political issues, why they never organise their own political organisation or join opposition party?
