Even S$ 32,000 will not be enough if you suffer prolong illness from cancer or some cardiac problems in your old age. Thus it is very important to take very good care of your own health and also have a healthy pool of funds for old age.

How much is enough, if you "suffer prolong illness from cancer or some cardiac problems in your old age"?
Will the money be there to just to prolong your life, and suffering, or will it pay to heal you?
Money is not the solution to cronical illnesses, do whatever is necessary to keep healthy, don't eat what would increase the cause of potential illnesses.

Would it be better to keep drawing down your medisave account every time you have a chance to use it?
If you don't use it, it's as good as not there.

What is medisave? you can use it to pay for hospitalization, yours and your dependent, it can also be used to pay for premium of Shield plan, which is insurance for hospitalization, to enable you to be hospitalized more comfortably, first class private instead of C class government. Don't draw down if you don't have to, for you have many more years to live. The chance to draw down is not the chance you are looking for. After all, there is a cap for medisave, you will not be paying and paying even if you don't use it.
If is not a question of using it to know that it is there, the question is, if you want to use it, is it there?
