Sizes of HDB Flats

Did anyone see the Trivelis showflat?
I saw already can laff and angry at the same time. Only managed squeeze into the 5rm flat one. It looks like a toy house lor. You can never put a 3 + 2 sofa set in the living room unless you don't intend to have a dining table at all. It makes it worse when there is a stupid balcony that takes up much of the limited floor space. Why would the residents need such a big balcony? The designers' brain grow grass one or what. It will end up being used for hanging clothes only lor.
As per the showflat, after putting in the furniture, the walking space is anytime smaller than the old 4rm flat. In fact, the floor area size is almost the same as a regular 4rm.I am thankful that I didn't bother to see the 4rm and 3rm showflats.

Your mortgage loan repayment comes up to 1.5K to 2K a month right?
Almost the same as somebody renting it out the whole flat to foreign workers or PRs.

They are more expensive and smaller but the quality also improve if you ask me....

What else can we do...if we need a roof above our heads....bo pian, have to buy expensive HDB flats lor....if can live with parents even better, save alot of $....but got alot of CPF unused how?
