Singaporeans are not a grateful lot. See how they treat LKY. The whole worlds admires LKY, but singaporeans dont seem to appreciate the many great things he has done for singapore. Instead they only know how to complaint about the small things. Some even said that PAP stands for "pay and pay" but they dont realize that how well of they actually are compared to the neighbouring countries and whatever they pay doesn't go into the pocket of politicians like what happen to their neighbours.

Harry Lee Kuan Yew also owns the chinese in Singapore a debt. He came to power through their support but in the end betrayed them by destroying their education system and suppressing their dialect mother tongues. He is also not grateful.
