Singaporeans Come First ?

The government has promised that they will control the influx of foreigners, and will take steps to ensure that the interests of Singaporeans will not be compromised when foreigners already make up 36% of our population.
So may i ask,
In what aspect do Singaporeans come first exactly ?
Is there any distinct advantage being a Singaporean over a PR or FT ?
What or where is the value of our Singaporean Citizenship?

Give more goodies and more rebates and more reduction to SPOREAN.
Give less goodies and less rebates and less reduction to NON SPOREAN.
1st priority jobs to SPOREAN, NON SPOREAN 2nd.
1st priority to school for SPOREAN, NON SPOREAN 2nd.
1st priority and more discount for housing for SPOREAN, NON SPOREAN 2nd.
What else?

This topic is not put up to persuade nor dissuade anyone if they want to retain or become a Singaporean loh, but rather exactly what advantages does one have being a Singaporean. -
Not true! I was made to wait while in SGH for a bed, after more than 5 hours they make me stay in a Class"C" ward first till they can upgrade me to a "B2" becos of my Mean income class. The PRs and Foreigners are taking up the beds!

you know,i went for an interview as an eligible job applicant for the SAF contractor servicing singapore army tanks in australia.
in less than 1 or 2 minutes after flipping my file of 10 certs he told me he wont even consider me as a trainee to service the singapore army tanks in australia even though im allowed to work for them.his reason was he doesnt want to train me up even though he advertised the job decription as a trainee position for servicing SAF tanks and vehicles in australia.
so the white guy who interviewed me and rejected me as soon as i stepped into the interview room was placed in position and paid a salary by who?the spore gov naturally!he even told me off to go back to spore because he thinks spore will pay me same salary as him of minimum of $120,000/year salary for sitting around and looking at wasted spore army tanks in australia.
this makes me think spore gov might say one thing but cant cash out on its promises on looking after sporeans in spore and outa spore!im beginnin to lose faith in spore.pretty soon i wont be sporean from looks of it all.

- PRC who come to Singaproe to work is earning 5 times the salary he can earn in China. Even after taking a 80% earning of average salary in Singapore, I think it is quite worth it.
- The housing in other countries is counting at about 50K. In Singapore the housing is at 500 k (plus one zero). The car is also very expensive.
- What is the value of Singapore citizenship? Frankly, I dont know.

value of sporean citizenship:i hate to say it but objectively its almost same as the banks interest rates at between 0.1 to 0.5%.

Well i heard a lot of folks say, the Singaporean passport is one big incentive of being a Singaporean.
You can literally go anywhere in the world without applying for visas first.
However one advantage cannot over-ride the numerous disadvantages I guess.

Let's see - males get to serve national service, you get to contribute to CPF whose value will have eroded to the point of being worthless by the time you retire, you get priority in being overlooked in place of cheaper foreigners in the workforce who do not exactly have the financial commitments Singaporeans need to contend with, just to name a few.
Above all else, you are even strongly encouraged to put up with the unreasonable ways of foreigners just so you can better integrate to their way of life for the sake of a more harmonious social environment that doesn't spark off social unrest and cause problems for the fascists who are incidentally paid lottery-winning salaries at the expense of Singaporeans.
Above and beyond that, you have the honour of living in a "democracy" where your leaders threaten to send tanks in to put things right in the event of freak election results just so they can perpetuate a fascist dynasty.

2) singaporean - first to fire when economy bad !!!
3) singaporean - first to die when no money !!!
4) singaporean - first to blame for not voting for PAP !!!

Spore govt will be painfully taking steps to control and have a stringent regulations in applying for PRs to stay and work in Spore.
It really takes time, maybe another 5 to 10 yrs to really see the effect.
Hopefully the value of being Sporean is being felt and recognised.
Presently, the advantages of being sporean is almost the same as with the PRs/FTs.

Sorry loh, but how many of us can spare that 5 - 10 years to wait for them to repair the damage they caused? Besides, in 5 - 10 years time, the damage will be far greater than what it is now.
Many of us were already pinning hopes on the recent elections for change and it has left us with a bitter taste in our mouths.
Life is too short for any rational person in the right mind to continue to slog on here and pray for an absolution which would never come.

We have entrusted our country to PAP for 50 years and after so long, we are still struggling to make ends meet leh.

Really sporean dont want to listen to 'sorry' this and that. Already numb.
What sporean want is action, implementation, policies that help sporean to live and breadth easily and work happily in Spore.

its difficult.and they are more confused and helpless as years go by.not fools and not blind....just angry but dunno who to beat up really.
some of them jump down from 12 storey floor with own children and others drown themselves in nearby reservoirs with half eaten body and dead kids.
