MP Lee should have taken into consideration of the feeling of the individual asking the question.
It is a personal issue and decision as to whether one is married, attached or having children.
If he cannot make his own gal to do the same for the nation, he cannot ask the same for the lady.
It is basic human right.

Lee Kuan Yew is alienating the younger generation of Singaporeans. I think he is a liability to the PAP. He is not an asset to the PAP. The PAP CEC should make a decision to get rid of Lee Kuan Yew.
The fortunes of PAP might revive after Lee Kuan Yew is gotten rid of.

She is 27 and a PHD but she answer LKY questions meekly like a little lamb. No china woman will take it sitting down. They fire questions and can be as young as 18 to do so.
It just show how Singaporeans need to speak eloquently to be on level with politicians.
We must be able to speak our mind loud and clear. I am not siding LKY but i think we need to speak up more like the China nationals.
Sad to say, SG's education system has made MOST Sgreans not to reply/retaliate/rephrase their qn when the answer does not refer adequately to the qn posed...

That is also one of the effects of living in an authoritarian system like ours.

His words are aptly prophetic to our present society. Are we a soulless society?Maybe we are, but it is heartening to see great men like Dr Toh Chin Chye made passionate dreams for Singapore. Both in the development and building of modern Singapore, Dr Toh was instrumental in making the Singapore we know today.Dr Toh is truly one of the founders of Singapore.Moreover, Communism, on the winning side of the war, nonetheless showed that it, like any authoritarian system, failed to produce innovations, flexibility, and freedom; it could make extensive industrial advances only by copying freer peoples, and could not raise its standards of living substantially because it could not combine lack of freedom and force in political life and in the utilization of economic resources with the increased production of food and spiritual or intellectual freedom which were the chief desires of its own peoples. -
Under the PAP system, the people under the system cannot develop their potentials to the maximum due to the nature of authoritarian and regimental societies like our own.
This is why the PAP must resort to the import of aliens from people from other societies that can produce the type of creative and entrepreneurial individuals that a modern economic system needs.
All of this unnecessary repression is due to Lee Kuan Yew.

yeah - typical for politicains to siam hard questions/topics, but that kind of answer was as titled, 'below the belt' and unprofessional.
