Still so stinky, ya!
a woman’s child-bearing years stating that after 35, the dangers of having children with Down syndrome rises.
Singapore is a cosmopolitan or internationlism society, and there was never an issue in national identity.
For Down syndrome, the answer is based on others point of view that age has direct effect on Down syndrome child. It is not his previous stance that both highly educated couples will give birth to a more highly intelligent child. In fact, for more interactive exchange, they should invite Mr PM... He has been shrewdness and discernment but insensitive to a gentle lovely girl in the large audience, whose concern on national identity may not have the intent directly on birth rate related. She was forward looking of an insight for a more cohesive spore that to be of her service. Probably, LKY has given up any valuable idea on cohesiveness for both FT and ST....
I find nothing wrong with MM Lee reply.
MP Lee should have taken into consideration of the feeling of the individual asking the question.
It is a personal issue and decision as to whether one is married, attached or having children.
If he cannot make his own gal to do the same for the nation, he cannot ask the same for the lady.
It is basic human right.
Lee Kuan Yew is alienating the younger generation of Singaporeans. I think he is a liability to the PAP. He is not an asset to the PAP. The PAP CEC should make a decision to get rid of Lee Kuan Yew.
The fortunes of PAP might revive after Lee Kuan Yew is gotten rid of.

She is 27 and a PHD but she answer LKY questions meekly like a little lamb. No china woman will take it sitting down. They fire questions and can be as young as 18 to do so.
It just show how Singaporeans need to speak eloquently to be on level with politicians.
We must be able to speak our mind loud and clear. I am not siding LKY but i think we need to speak up more like the China nationals.
Sad to say, SG's education system has made MOST Sgreans not to reply/retaliate/rephrase their qn when the answer does not refer adequately to the qn posed...

That is also one of the effects of living in an authoritarian system like ours.
“I would say the generation of the ‘50s and ‘60s took the plunge into politics without ever calculating the costs of the risk and the benefits to be gained. They were driven by ideology.Today’s generation has no culture and averse to taking political risk. Really, an interest in politics is very necessary for the future. But I cannot blame the present generations, because they see the heavy-handed response by the government to dissenting views, even though they know that these matters involve their daily lives.
So the result is that we have produced a younger generation who are meek and therefore very calculating.
They are less independent-thinking and lack in initiative. It does not bode well for the emergence of future leaders in politics and business.
Robots and computers can be programmed or if you like, can be trained. But the trouble, of course, is that computers lack soul and what we need in Singapore is soul.
Because it is soul that makes society.”
Under the PAP system, the people under the system cannot develop their potentials to the maximum due to the nature of authoritarian and regimental societies like our own.
This is why the PAP must resort to the import of aliens from people from other societies that can produce the type of creative and entrepreneurial individuals that a modern economic system needs.
All of this unnecessary repression is due to Lee Kuan Yew.

They are so weak in answering real critical questions.
The worst is Lee Kuan Yew, only know how to evade and snipe at others, giving replies with no substance whatsoever.
yeah - typical for politicains to siam hard questions/topics, but that kind of answer was as titled, 'below the belt' and unprofessional.
People get the govt. they deserve.
LKY still around meh? thot he retired for good?? he may had built singapore for the past 50 years, and all because of the hard working and obedience citizens, hope he dun go on and destroy this nation in the next 50 years with some of his old senile brainy.
