after watching the 4 candidates debate on asianewschannel yesterday, i know who i will vote liao. I have to choose between two candidates but one dare to question and spoke very well on the TV show. That's the President for me.

Vote a President with a well balance background, vote TAN JEE SAY.
From a humble family, mother was a washer woman brought up 9 kids. He is a president scholar. Studied in oxford uni. Managed funds. Worked as a permanent secretary in Ministry of trade and industry.

Being an independent person not a member of PAP unlike the other three, he is in a good position to check and balance on the singapore govt.

Why so many people now stands for election to be president?? there is no change in constitution to give a new president greater power. It is the salary, dude.......For the job that the president does, he doesn't deserve that high salary. to give empty promises that if elected, he would do this and that...will remain empty talks.
to ride on the tide of anti pap, may be Low TK should stand for election, but he is way above the level of other oppositions.
We just hope that we do not vote in a president who would be a clown among heads of other countries. In meetings where the head of states line up for photo, president of singapore and philippines always stand next to each other, according to alphabetical order,....if elected, tan jee say and aquino makes a good pair...hahahahaha

But if we vote a old president, we might get extra holiday soon, cos hope he died during his presidency, fyi, Nathan is the only one that had gone thru the presidency and still come out alive, real good life

We elected our MPs to speak for us, in parliament, essentially.The EP is a joke because we elected a highly paid president to shake hands and for ceremony, may be fund raising.
I wonder if TJS, TKL or TCB would have meet the people session to listen to the people? on what platform would they be speaking for the people? facebook?

some pple may not vote for Mr Tan Jee Say because
1. They want him to be better represent SG as an elected MP
2. an EP will deprive SG of Mr Tan's talents as Mr Tan cannot change the constitution
3. Mr Tan will be bullied by the ruling elite!
4. Ruling elite WILL NEVER co-operate will Mr Tan and make things difficult for him
5. Mr Tan will be accused of something he never do and forced to resign...
