Have u consider old man who are not physically well,have u consider pregnant women who are not convenient?Actually,when i saw those working commuters dont give up seats for old man,i dont blame them,coz they are also tired after a long day work.Even if they were youngsters,coz i also feel tired n needed a seat after a long day work.The main culprit is the PAP government who take away too many seats in the buses n MRT.Otherwise,we would have enough seats for normal commuters,old man n pregnant women.
Besides,many wheelchair ppl travel by taxi coz its more convenient for them.I seldom see wheelchair ppl travelling MRT or buses,so why the hell do the bus company wanna take away so many seats?Pure dumb,like u sir!!!!
And we are not like other PAP ministers,or LKY,LHL n boot licker GCT who have cars or even chauffers to drive them to work n off work.They are too rich n isolated themselves n hide inside their "Palace" for too long.They no longer able to communicate n understand common Singaporeans anymore.

And also,if the government dont order the bus companies to make the bus driver drive the bus like snail just to attain the "robotic time schedule",it would have solve some of the over crowded commuters problem.
But oh well....the PAP ministers always behave like a stupid robot,they never think n tackle problem from a human perspective,thats why they always screw thing up.

Let's put it tis way, of all probs, 80% can be solved. The remaining 20% it's nowhere you can solve it cos the suggested sol dun make sense either.
I've did my part and some are earmarked to be done by the govt.

Your kpkb want to own cars, let your own.. Traffic jam kpkb ERP...Seriously I dun mind ERP at $6 for cars, but waived for public buses, $1 or $2 for lorries. Right now, car drivers are getting cheap deal at expense of biz cost.
As for bus schedules, I let you go plan see how..
It takes you hours to get 1 proper piece of schedule. -

i dun think bus drivers drive like snail during peak hours when the buses are crowded.. even so, the bus drivers cant drive too fast also when buses are crowded. usually the snail speed occur during off peak hours, when there are much less passengers.....

schedule.While buses should have priority, people who aspire to own cars should not be punished. This is after all our country and one man should not take away our enjoyment in life just because one man wants a XX million population.
Especially if his children and children's children stroll into Parliament and have grown up sheltered from our problems.

With the limited space, resources and drive for environmentally friendly practices, I support higher costs for car owners (i am one too), especially for passenger vehicles. Though something like raising ERP costs may also have consequences for businesses. -

Sorry, 1970s and 1980s not many cars on the road unlike today. As far there's no cars on the road like tat. That's what I think as u accuse the PAP, you're off from reality as well..
More time needed to load/ unload ppl in wheelchair in case there's the need, and yes, no to speeding (relative to packed buses).
To me the speed is ok, not into of not slowing down when approaching bus stop.

government can think of ways such as ferry transportation from people living in east to west, who has to commute from east to west for example. if you can afford it, why not helicopter transportation if you can pay, like $200 per ride.

I think Singaporeans should stand up and stand against the increase of population in future. Stop increasing the population if the infrastructures capabilities are unable to give Singaporeans a comfortable lifestyle. Singapore should also look into building multi-tier roads to cater for more vehicles, just like multi storey HDB flats for housing problems. And build guided bus lanes or BRT solely for public buses for faster, more efficient and flexible operations. No wonder Singaporeans do not feel a sense of home in Singapore anymore because basically they almost own nothing here, no land; HDB flats is no under their own name forever and is only regarded as a lease from HDB. If they can't even own a car, then where is a sense of belongng here then? Moreover, who wants to take public transport everytime when they go out with their family outings? alot of people are buying weekend car, but the mrt and buses are already overcrowded in peak hours during week days work week, to exercebate the overcrowding.

They will still target unsustaunable GDP growth so that they can get their 8 month bonuses.
But after all the hoo ha, they will probably not tell you how much bonuses they get next time lest you get pissed off again.

1/2 is everyone's working time is the same w/ students esp ard 0700 - 0730, making situation worst.Starting school later does not work anymore.
