You grew up seeing his black face....now that he's gone, time for smiley days :)
I am just thinking.
If we have a president who is always fighting for the Singaporeans' interests, then I think the incumbent party will have less time to bother about us commoners and worry more about the president.
Otherwise, they will increase things like GST to help us again.
That could be a good thing.
Are lesser mortals allowed to vote for the new president?

There was Ong Teng Cheong who made Goh Chok Tong and the whole PAP really worried.
With Tony Tan, he will make life easy for PAP, that's why I cannot vote for him.
Wah, more people coming into the picture.
Another Tan some more.

Dunno how many Singaporeans will be conned again to vote him as president?
He said he is an independent candidate, but in reality the PAP is supporting him.
Tony Tan confirms will get the certificate. Which of the other three Tans will get the certificate?
I do not want to see another walkover this time.
