Wonder how many of u here are RC volunteer and grassroot leader?
And how many of u are from the opposition coming here to pick up ideas, share your views.
why you worry about such a petty issues?
RC volunteer are volunteers and should not be motivated by political agenda. unless RC give them perks which them become the own RC problems.
grassroots leaders are base on merit and ability to serve right? does own political preference has anything to do with it? So are you tell us grassroots leaders in PAP wards should vote for PAP only? grassroots should serve its resident ahead and nto push thru its political agenda. get it drill it straight into you brain!!
yes, theoretically, RC volunteers should not be motivated by political agendas. but in reality, many of them do get motivated.
if not, how do you think PAP recruits their grassroot leaders to run for elections?
and RCs do give their volunteers perks. some prominent RC members are given free parking within the estate etc.
and it doesn't help when each GE shows the strong association between the grassroot organisations and the PAP. you have RCs sending busloads of volunteers to attend PAP rallies, when they are suppose to be politically neutral. If anyone wishes to attend any rallies, they should go on their own, as oppose to attending as representatives of the RCs
The last PAP rally I attended, I was serve with mee Goreng, chicken wing, frice rice, popiah and a bottle of mineral water, I was given a seat and a handheld fan with PAP logo, I hope they can do it better next rally, provide better seafoods, wine and some cool beers or coke to go along the hot night.
Even the old folks seating beside me complained about the foods, you do better PAP

No lah, I am trying to get a licence to provide drinks and foods for PAP and all other rallies, it is a lucrative business, just like WP 50,000 supporters, if can get to sell one packet to each, wow!
Do you know those ah peks ice cream palour each makes how much from a nite of rallies? nearly 1k net, normally only $30 dollar net.
Think business, vote later
yes I believe angel7030 is trying to get a licence to rpovide prostitution services to PAP but she get arrested and fined by the police instead

To be a true volunteers (RC) is to serve the residents and help the poor for their daily life. Alias, most of the volunteers arent right? To other purposes.
